Through the CSR initiatives led by Nisha Shoukath at People10, the focus remains on supporting communities in ways that create meaningful and lasting impact.
As part of this effort, the team partnered with Samarathanam Trust for the Disabled, an organization dedicated to supporting individuals with disabilities through long-term care and structured programs. The initiative focused on providing electric wheelchairs to beneficiaries who require mobility support in their everyday lives. Alongside the company’s efforts, Nisha continues to personally support such initiatives, reflecting a commitment that extends beyond formal programs.
Mobility plays an important role in independence. For many individuals, the ability to move freely shapes how they engage with their surroundings, participate in daily life, and build confidence over time.
The handover was filled with simple, meaningful moments. As the wheelchairs were introduced, recipients and their families responded with visible appreciation and ease. Conversations, shared smiles, and quiet interactions reflected the significance of the support being provided.
Led by the People10 team on ground, the initiative also included time spent with children at the center. Sharing meals and engaging with over 300+ students brought a sense of warmth and connection, making the day more than just a formal handover.
Access to mobility is closely tied to everyday independence. Providing electric wheelchairs supports individuals in navigating their daily routines with greater ease, reducing reliance on others and allowing for more active participation in their environment.
Through the initiatives she guides, Nisha continues to emphasize support that is practical, thoughtful, and rooted in real needs.
While Karuna is a People10-led initiative, Nisha’s role in guiding and supporting these efforts shapes its intent. By working closely with organizations like Samarathanam, the focus remains on delivering support that is relevant, respectful, and consistent.
Supporting mobility is not only about providing equipment. It is about enabling individuals to move through life with greater independence, confidence, and dignity.
