For Nisha Shoukath, supporting education is as much about presence as it is about responsibility. Through Karuna, the community initiative she leads and champions at People10, a school support drive reached 400+ students at Ramakrishna Samagra Shikshana Kendra, focusing on learning, movement, and creativity. Alongside the company’s efforts, she also continues to personally support children through sponsorship, reflecting a commitment that extends beyond formal programs.
This year’s initiative centered on education and sports, recognizing that children thrive when learning is balanced with play, self-expression, and shared experiences.
Learning, Movement, and Shared Moments
Students received sports suits and equipment to encourage participation, teamwork, and physical wellbeing, along with coloring materials for younger children to explore creativity. Nisha spent time with the children as they opened their art kits and explored the sports equipment, turning the moment into interaction rather than formality.
The day unfolded with play, conversation, laughter, and shared activities. Children, team members, and leadership spent time together playing games, talking, taking pictures, and building a sense of connection that went beyond the initiative itself.
