Lifesaving Blood Donation Drive – July 2025

A Collective Effort to Strengthen
Community Health

For Nisha Shoukath, community health is a shared responsibility that extends beyond organizations and into everyday action. Through Karuna, People10’s CSR initiative that she actively champions, a large-scale Blood Donation Camp was organized on 30 July 2025, bringing together employees, partners, and local volunteers around a single, lifesaving purpose.

The drive resulted in the collection of 123 units of blood, made possible by the participation of over 160 individuals. Each unit contributes to critical needs across emergency care, surgeries, cancer treatment, and other lifesaving interventions in public hospitals.

A Commitment to Health and Humanity

Guided by values of empathy and service, Karuna reflects Nisha’s belief that care for communities must be consistent and practical. Health-focused initiatives like this blood donation drive respond to ongoing shortages faced by healthcare systems, turning collective goodwill into tangible support.

The camp was conducted under proper medical supervision, with careful attention to donor safety and well-being, in collaboration with certified healthcare professionals.

Leadership That Encourages Participation

While People10 led the initiative through Karuna, Nisha’s involvement helped create an environment where participation felt personal rather than procedural. Her approach reinforces a culture where giving back is part of how people show up, not an obligation, but a shared value that is integral to their identity.

What emerged was not just an organized drive but a collective act of goodwill, one in which leadership, employees, and community members stood together with a shared purpose.

Why This Initiative Matters

Blood shortages remain a persistent challenge in India, particularly for patients requiring emergency care, cancer treatment, chronic condition management, and surgical support. Each donation plays a vital role in stabilizing patients and strengthening healthcare responses during critical moments.

With 123 units collected, the 2025 drive stands as one of Karuna’s most impactful health-focused efforts to date.

Continuing the Commitment

For Nisha, initiatives like these reflect a long-term commitment to supporting healthier and more resilient communities. Through Karuna, the focus remains on creating avenues where people can contribute meaningfully and where small actions collectively lead to lifesaving outcomes.

People10 will continue to build on these efforts, encouraging broader participation and sustained engagement in the years ahead.
